About the Role

Join Reid Stockfeeds as a Grain Operator and play a key role in the safe receival, storage and outloading of grain and bulk commodities at our Colbinabbin site. This hands-on role is suited to someone with grain bunker, storage or bulk commodity handling experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, sample and assess incoming grain and byproducts.
- Operate front-end loaders, telehandlers and grain handling equipment.
- Manage grain bunker and shed storage, stock segregation and inventory.
- Safely and accurately load bulk vehicles.
- Complete equipment pre-starts and operational records.
- Maintain high safety, quality and housekeeping standards.

What You Will Bring

- Experience working in grain bunkers, grain storage or bulk commodity operations.




- Front-end loader and telehandler experience, or willingness to obtain competency.
- Heavy Vehicle Licence (Desirable)
- Robust commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak harvest periods.

Your First 2 Weeks, 30 & 90 Days

- First 2 Weeks | Complete site induction and safety and quality training. Learn the site, equipment, grain receival, bunker management and storage procedures.
- By 30 Days | Complete core receival, storage and outloading tasks with support. Build confidence in equipment operation, grain sampling, stock control and record keeping.
- By 90 Days | Confidently manage day-to-day grain handling activities while supporting safe operations, inventory accuracy and quality standards.
