Apprentice Landscaper – Sam the Paving Man

Are you looking to kickstart a hands‐on career in hard landscaping? Sam the Paving Man is offering a fantastic chance for an Apprentice Hard Landscaper to join our team, working across some of Sydney's premier residential and commercial properties.

n

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced landscapers, gaining practical skills while completing your formal training. You'll learn how to construct and maintain high‐quality landscape features, operate a variety of tools and equipment safely, and build a strong foundation in landscape construction techniques.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Assisting with the construction and installation of paving, retaining walls, edging, and other hard landscape features
n
- Supporting site preparation including excavation, levelling, compaction, and base preparation
n
- Helping with the laying, cutting, and finishing of paving materials to a high standard
n
- Learning to safely operate hand tools and small machinery used in hard landscape construction
n
- Carrying out routine equipment cleaning, care, and fault reporting
n
- Following WHS policies,



wearing required PPE, and participating in daily safety briefings
n
- Supporting environmentally responsible work practices, including correct disposal of waste materials
n
- Attending off‐site apprenticeship training and completing all course requirements
n
- Taking pride in producing neat, professional, and high‐quality work
n
