Make Fencing is looking for an experienced Fencing Team Leader / Site Supervisor to lead our crews and oversee fencing projects across Melbourne.

This is a hands-on leadership role. We're looking for someone who can run a site, manage and train a team, solve problems and keep projects moving efficiently.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

- Leading and managing fencing crews onsite
- Planning daily works and allocating tasks
- Training, mentoring and developing team members
- Ensuring projects are completed efficiently and within allocated labour targets
- Reading plans and understanding project requirements
- Managing quality, safety and workmanship
- Identifying and resolving site issues
- Communicating with clients, builders and our Operations team
- Leading from example. Do what you say and say as you do.

What We're Looking For

You must have:

- Proven site management or supervision experience
- Experience managing a construction or trade-based team
- A proven track record of training and developing staff
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Robust work ethic with a focus on efficiency and productivity
- Ability to read plans and problem-solve onsite
- Current Australian driver's licence

Fencing experience is highly regarded; however, we will consider experienced Site Supervisors, Leading Hands or Team Leaders from other construction trades.

This role could be a great fit for someone who has previously run their own fencing,



landscaping or trade business and is looking for more stability without giving up the responsibility and autonomy of running jobs.
