Buddies Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and qualifiedEarly Childhood (Pre-primary School) Teacher – ANZSCO 241111to join our kindergarten team.

At Buddies, we believe children learn best through strong relationships, play, curiosity and meaningful experiences. We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who can create an engaging kindergarten program that extends children's thinking, supports individual development and builds genuine partnerships with families.

About the role

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

- Plan, implement and evaluate a high-quality, play-based kindergarten program.
- Use observations, assessment and critical reflection to extend children's learning.
- Create environments that encourage curiosity, investigation, problem-solving and sustained shared thinking.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development.
- Develop meaningful and respectful relationships with children and families.
- Work collaboratively with educators, leadership and other professionals.
- Maintain educational documentation, planning and assessment records.
- Support inclusive practices and individual children's learning and developmental needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the service's Quality Improvement Plan.
- Ensure practices meet the EYLF, VEYLDF,



National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and relevant child-safe requirements.

About you

You will have:

- An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification recognised in Australia.
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.
- A minimum ofone year of relevant Early Childhood Teacher experience.
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, VEYLDF, NQF and NQS.
- A strong understanding of play-based learning, intentional teaching and contemporary early childhood pedagogy.
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to child safety, inclusion and creating an environment where every child can participate, learn and thrive.
