Freight Handlers | Multiple shifts available | Brisbane

We're hiring Freight Handlers for the seasonal peak at some of Australia's largest postal networks including Australia Post, StarTrack, Linfox, Couriers Please and loads more. We help them find experienced casual warehousing general assistants and freight handlers on a regular basis all across all Brisbane regions and beyond

You'll be sorting parcels and mail, manually and with machine assistance, to keep deliveries moving through the busiest stretch of the year. If you're looking for variety in your day, this is the job for you.

so you're set up properly (and safely) from day one. Every shift starts with you showing up, but every shift ends with you getting home protected. That second part is the one we'll never compromise on.

What you'll typically be doing during your shift:

Manually sorting parcels and mail, with both machine and scanner assistance

Loading and unloading parcels from bags, trays, containers, and cages

Assisting with operating load-shifting equipment (eg pallet jacks, stackers, conveyors, etc)

Order picking and labelling

Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers

What you'll need:

To be fit and strong - comfortable with physically demanding work, including regular (and safe) lifting up to 16kg objects

Basic PPE gear - including your own hi-vis vest, appropriate pants/shorts, and steel-capped boots

A valid police check, or ability to complete a statutory declaration

Good memory recall and hand-eye coordination

Able to handle parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products
