This is an industry-leading aluminium fabrication company that stands out for its specialisation in creating custom extrusions, resulting in a wide range of high-quality aluminium products.

Located in Braeside, we are looking for an Aluminium Fabricator to complement their team in an ongoing temporary to permanent position which will lead to full-time after a successful probation period.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Assembly of custom-made aluminium extrusion products
- MIG welding of aluminium products i.e., exhibition events industry
- Use of basic hand-tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Working in a team to assist with daily production requirements
- Sanding, operate aluminium saw, milling machine and interpret drawings

Qualifications & Experience

- Weld components to a high-quality standard and in a safe manner
- Confidence in MIG welding, measurements, accuracy, and assembly skills
- Positive attitude with an eye for detail with the ability to work in a team
- Weld aluminium from 1.6mm - 10mm mostly extrusions

Ideally the suitable candidate will have recent experience with MIG welding of aluminium products or components in a manufacturing workplace.
