Working alongside our Head Chef and pastry team, you'll support daily production and build your skills across viennoiserie and pastry production. We're an established neighbourhood patisserie on High Street, Armadale, producing pastries, cakes and savoury products in-house, taking pride in quality ingredients and consistent baking.

Key responsibilities

Preparing, mixing and laminating dough for croissants and other viennoiserie

Shaping, filling, proofing and baking pastries

Preparing creams, fillings and other pastry components

Assisting with the wider sweet and savoury production range

Following recipes and production schedules to achieve consistent quality, size and presentation

Managing preparation, stock rotation and storage to minimise wastage

Maintaining a clean, organised workstation and following food safety procedures

About you

Minimum 3 years experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery or relevant commercial kitchen

A solid interest in viennoiserie,



laminated dough and baking with minimum 3 years experience

Attention to detail and pride in producing consistent products

Good organisation and the ability to work steadily through a production list

Reliability, a positive attitude and a willingness to take feedback

Availability for early starts and weekend shifts as rostered

A relevant pastry or baking qualification, completed or underway, is welcome

Previous lamination experience is an advantage, but we're also interested in applicants with sound basic skills and the right attitude
