M. G. Barnes Transport is a family-owned and operated business based in Hoppers Crossing, with an established presence in a competitive market for over 82 years.

We’re looking for x2 reliable, punctual, energetic and motivated Forklift Operator’s to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a close knit team.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operating a forklift in a busy warehouse/yard environment

Loading and unloading trucks

Loading and unloading shipping containers

Occasional manual handling unloading shipping containers

Moving, stacking and organising stock and materials

Ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently

Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

Current forklift licence (LF) required

Previous forklift/warehouse experience preferred





Reliable and punctual

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Strong commitment to workplace safety

Physically fit and comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment

What We Offer

X1 Forklift Operator - 5:00am – 1:00pm Monday to Friday

X1 Forklift Operator - 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday
