Located on the edge of the beautiful Matilda Bay in Crawley, our elegant, wood-lined restaurant overlooks the bay with stunning views of Kings Park and Perth City. We serve Modern Australian fish dishes and hearty grills in a workplace where the scenery is as impressive as the dining experience.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant and help lead our front-of-house team. About the Role

You will support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant, helping to maintain high service standards, productive operations and strong team performance. This is a hands-on role that involves leading the team during service, supporting staff development and helping ensure the restaurant runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and help ensure smooth and efficient service

Lead, train and support the front-of-house team to maintain high service standards

Deliver excellent customer service and assist with resolving customer concerns

Assist with stock control, ordering and maintaining appropriate beverage and front-of-house supplies

Maintain good wine knowledge, including wine varieties and food pairings, to support the team and guest experience

Support sales performance and help identify opportunities to improve service and efficiency

Assist with staffing,



rostering and service coverage as required

Assist with cash handling, daily cash reconciliation and banking in line with company procedures

Work closely with the Restaurant Manager, General Manager and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and strong communication

Maintain compliance with WHS, licensing and company policies

Handle day-to-day issues and problem-solve during service

Support the Restaurant Manager and take responsibility for the restaurant when required

About You

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar managerial role within a premium or high-quality dining environment

Strong leadership and team management skills in the Hospitality industry

Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities

Extensive wine knowledge and confidence assisting guests and staff with recommendations

Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
