Our client is a Mechanical and Electrical Contracting firm with a well-established client base, operating in Townsville for over 30 years. They specialise in electrical installations, maintenance, and air cooling solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial customers, with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver power, lighting, and air conditioning control work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, while developing and leading a small team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:





- Working with an apprentice to develop and lead a small team
- Co-ordinating with our client's other trades and office team
- Carrying out new air conditioning system installations and some breakdowns
- Installing and upgrading power, lighting circuits, mains, and controls
- Occasional travel to remote sites for short stints on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster

About You

The successful candidate will have:

- Some industrial, commercial, and residential experience in power and controls for air conditioning
- A Cert III Electrical Trade Certificate and current electrical licence
- A current driver's licence, current CPR/LVR, and Construction White Card
- The ability to complete test results, with knowledge of simPRO an advantage
- Ambition to lead a team and the drive to hit the ground running and complete tasks
