This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, staying organised and taking responsibility for keeping stock movements running smoothly. You will manage the day-to-day movement, storage and dispatch of palletised stock through the coolroom and warehouse facility. This is an ongoing casual role with work concentrated into approximately 8-10 business days at the beginning of each month. Typical working hours are between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with finishing times varying depending on truck movements and workload.
Key responsibilities
- Unloading incoming trucks and semi-trailers
- Moving incoming pallets into coolroom storage
- Documenting pallets with arrival date and time
- Recording incoming stock accurately in an Excel stock register
- Moving pallets from the coolroom into warehouse storage after approximately 24 hours
- Organising warehouse stock in a logical and orderly manner
- Reviewing upcoming outgoing orders
- Preparing stock for following-day collections
- Loading outgoing trucks and semi-trailers
- Recording outgoing stock accurately

- Experience loading and unloading trucks or semi-trailers
- Solid reliability and punctuality
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills and confidence entering information into Excel
- The ability to keep accurate stock records
