We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to be the star of our kitchens where smiles are just as important as the meals we serve.

What you will be doing

- Prepare, cook, and serve dishes with flair and precision
- Support the Head Chef and step up when required
- Maintain HACCP standards and kitchen compliance
- Keep equipment in top condition
- Plan daily prep lists for efficient service
- Ensure OH&S; compliance and secure practices
- Mentor and induct new staff
- Contribute to team meetings and uphold our Code of Conduct

Desired Skills

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel, restaurant, catering company or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.




- Certificate or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage
- Proven experience working in large hotels or multi-function catering venues.
- Intermediate Microsoft 365 skills,

Conditions of Employment

- National Police Clearance.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Annual flu (influenza) vaccine.
- All COVID vaccinations to ensure the ability to work within aged care.
- Valid driver’s licence.
