About the Role

The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for managing customer enquiries and bookings while supporting the day-to-day operations of our transport business.

A key responsibility of this role is to manage customer enquiries by answering phone calls, booking jobs, and responding to customers via phone and email. As you will be one of the first points of contact for our customers, strong communication and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer incoming customer phone calls and respond to customer enquiries
- Book and schedule customer jobs accurately
- Respond to customers promptly and professionally via phone and email
- Coordinate with drivers and internal teams to ensure jobs run smoothly
- Follow up on deliveries and customer requests
- Resolve customer queries and elevate issues when required
- Enter and maintain accurate job and customer information




- Assist with general administration and transport-related duties
- Provide ongoing support to the operations team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, professional and confident speaking with customers
- Excellent in both verbal and written communication
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Comfortable answering a busy phone and dealing with customer enquiries
- Confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office
- Able to work in a fast-paced transport environment
- Previous experience in customer service, transport, logistics or administration is highly desirable
- Forklift Licence is preferred but not essential
