Sky Music is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Clayton VIC location. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching products with accuracy and care, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the smooth running of our logistics operations. This hands‑on role offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in a fast‑paced warehouse workplace whilst working as part of a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

- Pick items from shelves and storage areas according to order specifications and picking lists
- Pack products carefully into boxes or containers, ensuring items are protected and orders are complete
- Apply appropriate labelling and documentation to packed items for dispatch
- Prepare shipments for collection and ensure they are loaded onto delivery vehicles safely
- Maintain accurate records of picked and packed items using warehouse management systems
- Organise and maintain warehouse stock, keeping shelves and storage areas neat and accessible
- Perform stock checks and assist with inventory management tasks as required
- Support the warehouse team with additional tasks to meet operational targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Picker, Packer, or similar warehouse role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to pick and pack items accurately and efficiently
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 15kg regularly throughout your shift




- Ability to work at a steady pace and meet productivity targetsGood organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and recording stock items
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or the willingness to learn quickly
- A commitment to health and safety practices and maintaining a tidy workplace
- Robust teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
