We are seeking an accomplished Executive Director, Technology to lead a significant portfolio of enterprise technology modernisation, transformation and operational delivery.

A key focus will be the leadership and successful delivery of a major SAP S/4HANA / Finance Modernisation transformation, within a broader portfolio of critical enterprise technology platforms and services.

Operating within a large and highly complex enterprise environment, you will provide strategic technology leadership while ensuring transformation translates into successful, sustainable operational outcomes.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Provide executive technology leadership across a major SAP S/4HANA / Finance Modernisation transformation.
- Lead major system modernisation and enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
- Provide governance and oversight across complex ERP transformation and implementation.
- Work effectively with SAP implementation partners, systems integrators, vendors and internal technology teams.
- Set strategic direction across a complex portfolio of technology projects and operational priorities.
- Ensure transformation programs successfully transition into stable, secure and sustainable operational environments.
- Lead the delivery of contemporary, reliable, secure and highly available technology solutions.
- Lead and develop diverse technology teams, creating a strong culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation.
- Partner with senior executives, customers, business units, vendors and key stakeholders.
- Maintain strong governance across budgets, resources, procurement and vendor relationships.
- Oversee assurance, audit, risk and technology performance.
- Drive continuous improvement across technology delivery and operations.

What We're Looking For





- Significant experience leading SAP S/4HANA transformation programs within large, complex organisations.
- Solid understanding of enterprise ERP and Finance transformation.
- Experience governing major SAP implementations involving large systems integrators and multiple delivery partners.
- Demonstrated experience taking major technology transformation from strategy and design through implementation and into BAU.
- Broad enterprise technology leadership experience beyond SAP.
- Experience leading complex technology operations alongside major transformation.
- Strong executive leadership of large and diverse technology teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing capability.
- Significant vendor, commercial and procurement management experience.
- Strong governance, risk, assurance, budget and resource management capability.
- The technology depth and credibility to challenge architects, vendors and delivery partners when required.
- The ability to translate business strategy into practical technology outcomes using contemporary and emerging technologies.

The Leadership Challenge: This isn't simply an SAP Program Director position.
The successful candidate needs the breadth to provide executive leadership across a substantial technology portfolio, while bringing sufficient SAP S/4HANA transformation experience to effectively govern and challenge one of the organisation's most significant modernisation initiatives.

You'll need to balance transformation, technology operations, people leadership, commercial management and executive stakeholder engagement.

We are looking for someone who can set strategic direction but is equally comfortable getting close enough to delivery to understand what is really happening, challenge where necessary and ensure commitments translate into outcomes.
