As the business enters its next phase of growth, they're looking for a General Manager to drive performance, sharpen execution and lead the team from the front.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the General Manager will take ownership of day-to-day operations across the business, driving performance, compliance and sustainable growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced commercial finance professional who can translate strategy into action, strengthen operational discipline and build a high-performing, accountable team. The role will oversee people, processes, systems and lender relationships whilst maintaining strong service standards and positioning the business for continued growth.

Key responsibilities include :-

- Owning daily operational performance, ensuring service standards and turnaround times are consistently met;
- Maintaining FBAA,



AFCA and NCCP compliance across lending and documentation standards;
- Manage and strengthen relationships with the COG aggregation platform and lender panel;
- Managing lender relationships, BDM engagement, onboarding and commercial opportunities;
- Identifying and implementing process, systems and efficiency improvements across the business;
- Building a high-performance culture through coaching, accountability, recognition and continuous improvement.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

The successful candidate will have proven senior leadership experience within finance broking, commercial lending or a closely related financial services environment. A Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking, with FBAA membership is preferred. Demonstrated leadership, compliance and operational capability, with strong lender relationships, commercial judgement, process improvement skills and the ability to build accountable, high-performing teams in a growing business setting is essential.
