We’re on the lookout for a qualified Auto Electrician to work on our fleet of over 400 vehicles and 600 heavy earthmoving machines.

The role involves Field Service across the Brisbane, Ipswich and Gold Coast regions, as well as working alongside our workshop team, with full access to diagnostic information and product knowledge specialists.

This is a full-time permanent position, working hours will be Monday–Thursday from 6:30am to 5:00pm, Fridays from 6:30am to 4:00pm and Saturdays 6:00am to 12:00pm (as required).

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will be:

- Carry out Auto Electrical diagnostics and repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment including CAT, Komatsu and Volvo, highway trucks including Kenworth, Volvo and Iveco, and light vehicles including Toyota and Isuzu.
- Air conditioning diagnostics and repairs.
- Develop your knowledge and skills in the electrical systems and technology used across modern heavy earthmoving machinery.

About You:
- Trade qualification – Auto Electrical (Australian recognised).
- A minimum of 12 months’ post-trade experience.
- Air Conditioning Licence (current).
- Basic electrical aptitude and mobile equipment experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced team setting.




- Sound computer skills (CAT E.T. experience advantageous).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess strong initiative and problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong commitment to working at a high standard, with emphasis on quality workmanship and work ethic.
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Committed to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, self-motivated and good time management skills.

The following are desired but not essential:
- HR or HC Licence – an advantage.
- Experience in heavy earthmoving equipment.
- Forklift Licence.
- Working at Heights.
