Job Title: Sales & Marketing Assistant
Location: Perth, WA
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year + superannuation
Work Set-up: Full-time | On-site

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated, organised and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Assistant to support the Business Development team.

This is a broad role covering sales support, customer engagement, marketing, market research, CRM administration and industry events. You will work closely with Business Development and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and senior leadership.

The role would suit a recent graduate, someone with up to three years of relevant commercial experience, or a candidate with experience in defence, aerospace, sales, marketing or business administration who is looking to build a career in an international technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support customer enquiries, quotations, proposals, tenders and presentations
- Maintain customer and sales opportunity information within the CRM
- Assist with sales pipeline management and customer follow-up
- Research prospective customers, markets,



competitors and emerging opportunities
- Support customer meetings, correspondence and engagement activities
- Monitor developments across the aerospace and defence sectors
- Assist with website, LinkedIn and other approved digital channels
- Develop and maintain brochures, product sheets, presentations and marketing collateral
- Coordinate photography, video, newsletters, email campaigns and promotional materials
- Support the planning and delivery of trade shows, exhibitions and customer events
- Research exhibitors and attendees to identify potential customers and business opportunities
- Assist with NDAs, customer due diligence, export-control information and other commercial documentation
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Business Development team
- Travel domestically and internationally when required

Qualifications:

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Qualified, confident and personable approach to customers and stakeholders
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems




- Ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Genuine interest in aerospace, defence, engineering or advanced technology
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally

Experience & Education:

- Entry-level candidates and applicants with up to three years' relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development, administration or a related field is advantageous
- A tertiary qualification in business, marketing, communications, commerce or a related discipline is well regarded but not essential
- Defence industry or Australian Defence Force experience is highly regarded
- Knowledge or experience relating to drones, propulsion systems, aerospace, defence or advanced technology is advantageous
- Experience with CRM/ERP platforms, Adobe, Canva, website CMS platforms or LinkedIn is beneficial but not essential
