The Job:

Employal Recruitment is seeking dedicated Forklift Operators / Labourers to join a busy food manufacturing site in Wetherill Park. If you are hardworking, reliable, and ready to take responsibility, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for someone with a technical mindset – who is confident working with machinery.

Schedule/Shifts:

- Afternoon Schedule 2pm - 10pm ($46.66 per hour)
- Day Schedule 6am - 2pm ($40.57 per hour)

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain food production equipment and machinery including forklift operations
- Perform various tasks in the food production process, including sorting, mixing, scooping, weighing, blending and packaging.
- Take ownership of your work area and support team members to meet daily targets.
- Lead or guide other team members when required to keep the line running smoothly
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a clean and safe working workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and finished products as needed.




- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Operate and maintain food production equipment and machinery including forklift operations

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment (GMP, HACCP, Food Handling) is preferred.
- Experience operating machinery and a good understanding of how machines work.
- Previous team leading or acting as a key point of contact on shift is an advantage.
- Quick learner with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
- Basic Computer Skills
- RF Scanning experience
- Monday - Friday (must have full working rights) e.g. citizen/residence.
- Possession of a LF (Forklift) license is an advantage
- Candidates without an LF license are also encouraged to apply.
- Able to lift heavy (up to 25kg).
