Our client is preparing to open new Early Childhood centre in Prestons and is looking for a leader who wants more than just a Centre Manager title. They are looking for someone who will take genuine ownership of the centre, build a strong team culture and create an workplace where children, families and educators feel valued from day one.

You may be someone who has:

- Previous experience opening a brand-new Early Childhood centre, or has played a significant role in a centre opening.
- Experience as a Centre Manager, Assistant Director or another senior leadership position within Early Childhood.
- A strong understanding of quality, compliance and the National Quality Framework.
- A genuine passion for children and creating high-quality early learning environments.
- The ability to build, lead and inspire a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to develop meaningful relationships with families and the wider community.
- A leadership style that is warm, authentic, collaborative and people-focused.
- The drive and confidence to build something from the ground up.





Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) is required.
- Bachelor-qualified candidates are welcome, but a Bachelor degree is not essential for this position.
- Previous experience in a senior Early Childhood leadership role, such as Centre Manager, Assistant Director or equivalent.
- Experience opening a new centre or being involved in a centre opening is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and relevant NSW regulatory requirements.
- Current Working with Children Check and any other relevant compliance checks required for the role.

Importantly, you don't need to have already held a Centre Manager title.
