About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Structural Landscaper / Landscaping Supervisor to join a well-established landscaping business delivering high-quality commercial and large-scale development projects across South East Queensland.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a qualified landscaper who has strong experience across both hard and soft landscaping, can confidently operate machinery and has the ability to lead a crew and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Current projects are primarily located across Toowoomba and Ipswich, with additional work commencing on the Gold Coast in October. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable travelling across SEQ as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise landscaping crews across commercial and large-scale development projects.
- Organise daily work scopes, crew requirements and project programs.
- Deliver projects in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
- Undertake structural landscaping and hardscaping works including retaining walls, fencing, paving and concreting.
- Complete soft landscaping works with an understanding of appropriate plant species and installation requirements.
- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications.
- Operate excavators and posi-tracks safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate materials, machinery and labour to keep projects progressing.
- Monitor quality, productivity and material usage to minimise waste and unnecessary costs.
- Identify and resolve issues on site as they arise.
- Take responsibility for the overall delivery of works, ensuring projects are completed safely, to a high standard and within the required program.
- Work closely with management, clients and other contractors on commercial projects.

Skills & Experience

- Qualified and experienced landscaper with 5–10 years' industry experience.




- Robust background in structural and commercial landscaping.
- Experience working on large-scale development projects.
- Strong hardscaping skills across retaining walls, fencing, paving and concreting.
- Experience with soft landscaping and knowledge of plant species.
- Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards, construction requirements and specifications.
- Confident reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications.
- Current machine tickets and practical operating experience with excavators and posi-tracks.
- Previous experience supervising crews and coordinating daily site activities.
- Strong leadership, organisation and time management skills.
- A practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to remain calm when unexpected issues arise.
- Reliable, responsible and willing to take ownership of the work and project outcomes.
- High standards when it comes to quality, workmanship and correct installation.
- Willingness to travel across Toowoomba, Ipswich, the Gold Coast and wider SEQ.
