The Business Architect provides specialist information management and business consulting services to support the successful design and implementation of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) capability delivered on the OpenText platform.

The role is primarily responsible for managing the development of the Concept of Operations (ConOps), ensuring the solution aligns with organisational objectives, operating models, and business practices while establishing a practical and sustainable pathway to adoption.

The position also provides expert advice and stakeholder engagement to support Information Architecture (IA) design activities and contributes to Service Design activities to ensure alignment between operational processes and end-user support models

Key accountabilities of the role include:

- Manage the development of the ECM Concept of Operations (ConOps)
- Facilitate operational modelling activities to define future-state business operations.




- Engage stakeholders across the organisation to achieve alignment on future operating models and business processes.
- Design practical adoption pathways that support successful organisational transition and user acceptance.
- Identify opportunities to optimise ways of working while maintaining alignment with organisational constraints, structures, and practices.
- Provide expert advice and guidance for the development of Information Architecture (IA) designs supporting the OpenText ECM solution.
- Support the transition towards a up-to-date ECM architecture and operating model.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and governance bodies to progress information architecture objectives.
- Ensure information architecture decisions support organisational needs, compliance requirements, and future-state capabilities.
- Provide input into Managed Service Design activities where required
- Ensure alignment between Concept of Operations and end-user support models
