Maxima Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Operator for a Casual 3-6 Months plus opportunity based in Mannum, South Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused operator with experience across civil construction, road maintenance and plant operation.

About the Role:
Working within the Infrastructure & Field Services Department, you will operate and maintain a range of vehicles and plant while supporting Council's construction and maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Operating Heavy Rigid Trucks, loaders, skid steers, tractors and other plant.
- Undertaking road, drain, footpath, kerb and water table construction and maintenance.
- Performing routine plant checks and reporting faults or maintenance requirements.
- Undertaking traffic management and road signage activities.
- Maintaining parks, gardens, reserves and Council facilities.
- Completing timesheets, plant logs and WHS documentation.
- Supporting other Council functions and operating additional plant as required.
- Working safely and cooperatively as part of a team.

About You:
You will be an experienced plant operator with a strong commitment to safety, teamwork and customer service.
You will bring:

- Substantial experience operating Heavy Rigid Trucks,



Loaders and Skid Steers.
- Experience in road construction/maintenance and parks and gardens.
- Experience with traffic control and roadworks signage.
- Good communication, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer/tablet skills and willingness to learn new systems.

Required Licences & Qualifications:

- Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (Essential)
- Loader (LL) Licence
- Skid Steer (LS) Licence
- Class C Driver Licence
- Construction White Card
- Workzone Traffic Management accreditation
- First Aid Certificate

Desirable: Certificate III Civil Construction, Forklift (LF), EWP (WP), Chainsaw, ChemCert, Manual Handling, Chain of Responsibility and iResponda.
