About the role

Position Purpose

The Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for developing and coordinating fundraising activities that generate sustainable income for TLC Impact Foundation and support the Foundation’s charitable purpose, programs and community impact.

The role will build the Foundation’s fundraising capability from the ground up, developing relationships with donors, businesses, community organisations and other supporters while identifying opportunities for fundraising campaigns, events, sponsorships, grants and philanthropic partnerships.

The Fundraising Coordinator will work closely with TLC Impact Foundation leadership to increase the Foundation’s profile, diversify its funding sources and demonstrate measurable community impact.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Revenue Generation

Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities and charitable purpose.

Identify and develop sustainable fundraising opportunities across:

- Individual giving and donations

- Corporate partnerships and sponsorships

- Community fundraising

- Fundraising events

- Workplace giving

- Regular giving programs

- Major donors and philanthropic relationships

- Trusts and foundations

- Grants and other eligible funding opportunities





- Digital fundraising campaigns

Establish fundraising targets, pipelines and activity plans and regularly report progress against agreed objectives.

Donor & Partner Relationships

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective donors, sponsors, corporate partners and community stakeholders.

Create appropriate donor engagement and stewardship processes, including acknowledgement, communication, impact updates and ongoing relationship management.

Maintain accurate records of fundraising relationships, opportunities, commitments and outcomes.

Identify opportunities to develop longer-term partnerships rather than relying solely on one-off donations.

Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorship

Identify businesses and organisations whose values align with the Foundation’s charitable objectives.

Develop sponsorship and partnership proposals that clearly articulate the Foundation’s purpose, community impact and opportunities for involvement.

Coordinate partnership activation and ensure commitments made to sponsors and partners are delivered.

Fundraising Campaigns & Events

Coordinate fundraising campaigns and events from concept through to delivery.

Work with internal marketing and communications resources to develop campaign messaging, promotional materials, digital content and supporter communications.

Develop opportunities for community participation in fundraising activities.

Evaluate campaigns and events to understand financial return, engagement and future opportunities.

Grants & Funding Opportunities

Research relevant government, philanthropic, corporate and community grant opportunities.

Maintain a grants and funding calendar and coordinate applications, supporting documentation and reporting requirements.





Work with operational and finance teams to ensure funding applications are accurate, achievable and aligned with the Foundation’s objectives.

Community Engagement

Act as an ambassador for TLC Impact Foundation and positively represent the Foundation within the community.

Build relationships with community organisations, businesses, clubs, networks and other potential supporters.

Identify opportunities to increase awareness of the Foundation and encourage broader community participation.

Impact & Storytelling

Work with Foundation programs and stakeholders to identify meaningful stories demonstrating the impact of the Foundation’s work.

Support the development of donor communications, impact reports, case studies and fundraising content.

Ensure appropriate consent, privacy and safeguarding requirements are followed when sharing participant or beneficiary stories.

Governance, Compliance & Financial Accountability

Ensure fundraising activities are conducted ethically and in accordance with applicable Australian fundraising legislation, charitable fundraising requirements, ACNC obligations, privacy requirements and TLC Impact Foundation policies.

Work with Finance to ensure donations, sponsorships and fundraising income are appropriately recorded, receipted and reconciled.

Ensure representations made to donors and the community accurately describe how funds will be used.

Maintain appropriate records and documentation to support governance, audit and Board reporting.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be assessed against agreed annual targets, including:

- Fundraising revenue against budget

- Growth and diversification of fundraising income

- Number and value of corporate partnerships and sponsorships

- Donor acquisition and retention

- Fundraising campaign performance and return on investment

- Grant applications submitted and funding secured

- Growth of the fundraising pipeline

- Community and stakeholder engagement

- Delivery of fundraising activities within approved budgets

- Quality and timeliness of donor stewardship

- Compliance with fundraising, financial and governance requirements
