About the role

Caterquip is looking for a commercially minded, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help drive the next stage of growth. You'll be responsible for developing new commercial relationships while also working closely with the existing customer base to identify opportunities to provide more value across equipment, servicing and ongoing hospitality requirements. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of key Caterquip customers, become a trusted commercial partner to customers and create sustainable, profitable growth for Caterquip.

Key responsibilities

- Take ownership of a portfolio of key Caterquip customers and proactively develop those relationships
- Understand each customer's business and future requirements
- Identify opportunities across equipment, servicing and other Caterquip products and services
- Develop account plans for key customers
- Conduct regular customer visits and account reviews
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
- Build Caterquip's customer base across the region by identifying target industries, businesses and decision makers
- Build and maintain a structured prospect pipeline




- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in CRM and provide accurate sales forecasts
- Represent Caterquip at relevant industry and networking events

About you

- Proven B2B sales, business development or account management experience
- Track record of winning new customers
- Evidence of successfully growing existing accounts
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Confidence dealing with business owners, managers and commercial decision makers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good commercial judgement
- Experience managing a structured sales pipeline
- CRM discipline and ability to work independently and manage your own territory
- Proactive, accountable approach to achieving results
