Job Summary

Blaster and Painters are responsible for abrasive blasting, surface preparation and spray painting of components and equipment. The role ensures products meet company quality standards while maintaining a protected and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform abrasive blasting of components and equipment.

· Prepare surface through sanding, masking, cleaning and priming.

· Mix and apply primers, base coats and top coats.

· Operate spray painting equipment safely and efficiently.

· Conduct quality inspections and touch up as required.

· Maintain a clean and organised work station.

· Assist and support other team when required.

· Comply with Company policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience

· Minimum 2 years of experience as a Blaster Painter or similar role in the painting/surface preparation industry is preferred.

· Knowledge in paint preparation and application technique.





· Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application is preferred but not essential.

· Certificate III in Painting and Decorating is preferred but not essential.

· Solid attention to details and commitment to quality.

· Ability to work independently and within a team.

· Strong communication skills.

· Reliable and strong work ethics.
