About the role

Coffey & Co Gardens is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Gardeners to join our team working in Geelong and surrounds. As a full-time Gardener, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining grounds and gardens at sites throughout our region.

What you'll be doing

- Maintaining Turf - Ride on and push mowing, operating line trimmers, brush-cutters and edgers, renovating lawns, applying fertilizers and pesticides.

- Maintaining Gardens - Trimming hedges, pruning, weed management, mulching, pest treatment and soil improvement.

- Maintaining and installing indoor plants displays

- Creating Gardens - Installing edging, turf and garden paths, installing and maintaining irrigation, planting.

- Admin and General duties - light maintenance on tools and vehicles, filling out job details etc

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a Gardener or in a similar role within the Landscaping/Parks & Gardens/Horticulture industry.

- Cert III Horticulture/Cert III Parks & Gardens preferred.





- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.

- Ability to understand written and verbal instruction.

- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation to our depot.

- Manual license desirable.

- Ability to use trailers a bonus.

- National police check

- White card

- Must have Australian work rights.

- 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday with occasional overtime.
