Summary:

This is a technical advisory role for a structural engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering and customer support. You'll act as the structural and technical authority who supports FTI Group's Sales, Marketing, and Project teams

The role will support the company’s Project teams by focusing on structural and technical engineering requirements, enabling the broader team to remain focused on project delivery, programming, procurement, commercial management, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities:

- Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams on technical matters, acting as a bridge between the sales team and prospective customers.
- Collaborate closely with our New Product Development team across product lines.
- Deliver technical solutions for customers through effective configuration, integration, and scalable design.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, proactively addressing questions, concerns,



and objections throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our products, architecture, features, and roadmap.
- Develop and maintain technical collateral, FAQs, and onboarding materials to support sales initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, or equivalent formally assessed engineering qualification or experience relevant to the position.
- Chartered or Registered CPEng, with current accreditation through a recognised professional engineering body is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally including client facing or advisory work.
- Experience preparing and certifying engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation in a professional capacity is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to read, interpret and apply engineering drawings, plans, specifications and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
