CHEF | REMOTE COASTAL QUEENSLAND

This fantastic opportunity is based in Remote Coastal Queensland, where you’ll be part of a popular venue surrounded by stunning ocean views and a solid seasonal tourism trade.

With an influx of visitors during the winter months and a loyal local market throughout summer, this is a great opportunity for a Chef looking for long-term work, a change of pace and an incredible coastal lifestyle. And for fishing enthusiasts — this location is an AWESOME fishing destination! ������

THE PACKAGE

- $36.81 per hour | Monday–Friday
- $44.18 per hour | Saturday
- $51.54 per hour | Sunday
- Accommodation provided – $100 per week

THE ROLE

Working alongside the kitchen team, you’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking quality bistro-style meals while helping maintain a smooth and effective kitchen operation.

Your duties will include:

- Preparing and cooking bistro-style meals
- Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Supervising and supporting junior chefs
- Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food safety and hygiene




- Working collaboratively with the wider team
- Assisting with other kitchen duties as required

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience as a Chef in a similar role
- Is confident preparing and cooking bistro-style food
- Can work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Is comfortable working in a remote location
- Works well as part of a team
- Can confidently supervise and support junior kitchen staff
- Is reliable, hands-on and takes pride in their work
- Is ideally looking for a long-term commitment
