About the role

This is a genuine mix of workshop and site work. In the workshop you'll be knocking up carcasses and working on detailed, one-off pieces that need a tradesman's eye: feature joinery, fine-tolerance fits, anything that can't be rushed. You'll then lead the install of those same jobs on site - kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and bespoke joinery - working directly with site supervisors and off detailed shop drawings. Because you've built it, nothing on site is a surprise. An apprentice works with you across both, so you'll need patience and the ability to show, not just tell. Nothing leaves the workshop until it's been checked against the drawings and every part is ticked off, so what arrives on site is what's on the plan. Full week guaranteed regardless of site delays or weather.

Key responsibilities

- Knock up carcasses and work on detailed, one-off pieces in the workshop

- Lead the install of custom joinery on site - kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and bespoke joinery

- Work directly with site supervisors and off detailed shop drawings

- Quality check all work against drawings before it leaves the factory

- Tick off every part before it leaves the workshop





- Mentor and supervise an apprentice across workshop and site work

- Represent the company in front of builders and their clients

About you

- Cert III in Cabinet Making

- Minimum 3 years' experience installing custom residential joinery

- Strong workshop skills - comfortable with both production knock-up and detailed bespoke work

- Your own reliable transport

- Your own full set of tools

- Current driver's licence and White Card

- The temperament to represent us well in front of builders and their clients
