A leading Australian not-for-profit organisation in the community services, mental health, disability, and social care sector is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Business Systems Transformation team.
The organisation provides services supporting individuals, families, carers, and communities, with a solid focus on recovery, inclusion, advocacy, and improved service outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, and data visualisation across the organisation.
Working with the Applications & Analytics Manager, you will gather requirements, analyse data, develop reports and dashboards, and provide insights that support decision-making, continuous improvement, and external reporting requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Gather and document business and reporting requirements from stakeholders.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide reporting to support organisational outcomes.
- Maintain data integrity and resolve data quality and reporting issues.
- Support ETL, database,



and data collection processes.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training on business intelligence tools.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to improve data systems and processes.
- Ensure data handling complies with relevant governance and data sovereignty requirements.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Data Science, or related discipline.
- Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, and business analysis.
- Strong SQL and Microsoft SQL Server skills.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI.
- Experience with databases, ETL, data visualisation, and CRM systems.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to data warehousing or advanced analytics.
- Experience in community services, mental health, disability, aged care, or social services is advantageous.
- Experience with Carelink and/or MMEx is desirable.
- Ability to satisfy relevant Australian employment screening and right-to-work requirements.
