General Role Description

- Assist in the design and development of new products

- Material research

- Work alongside the R&D; team testing new products

- Manage and optimise datasets





- Liaising with external test facilities to manage test and assessment programs

- Answer phone and email technical enquiries

Prerequisites

· Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia, with no requirement for employer sponsorship, either now or in the future.

· Availability to work full time on an ongoing basis.

· A genuine commit to the role on a long-term basis.

Preferred Requirements

- Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or similar qualification in fire safety engineering.

- Previous experience in a similar technical role

- Experience in the construction industry

- Demonstrated ability to innovate, show initiative and logically analyse

- Strong CAD proficiency

- Robust Excel skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Proactive, and willingness to learn

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work unsupervised at times

- Ability and willingness to meet deadlines
