The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Talent Business Partner to provide a critical role in Recruitment Services.

About the Business Unit

The People, Safety, Culture (PSC) group supports the department in workplace culture and people matters. The Recruitment Services and Talent Programs team provides expert advice and support to the department on all recruitment related matters, including attraction, selection, redeployment and other recruitment and retention practices. Recruitment Services delivers consultative, progressive, innovative, fair and ethical recruitment solutions.

About the Role

As a Talent Business Partner, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process and work closely with hiring managers across the department to understand and meet their recruitment needs. This role will primarily support recruitment for Community Correctional Services and Youth Justice Community positions. Some of your duties will include:

- Undertake the full recruitment lifecycle including job briefing, advertising, sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing, background checking and offer management.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to internal and external stakeholders on the recruitment process, relevant policies, best practice recruitment methodologies and legislative requirements.
- Manage all candidates that are considered for each recruitment process and their candidate experience.

This role requires travel across Victoria to Justice Service Centres and other locations, as required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience managing the end-to-end recruitment process.




- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of recruitment processes, policies and best practice methodologies.
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
