Our client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering major earthworks, infrastructure, and subdivision projects across Victoria. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join their team.

Your new role

As an Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in the delivery of civil construction projects, operating machinery safely and efficiently while working alongside experienced site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate excavators ranging from 5T to 50T+ safely and efficiently
- Bulk and detailed excavation works
- Trenching for drainage, sewer, water, and electrical services
- Daily pre-starts and routine machine maintenance checks
- Adhere to site safety requirements and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, spotters, and ground crews

What you'll need to succeed





- Proven experience operating excavators on civil, infrastructure, quarry or earthworks projects
- Relevant plant operating tickets
- White Card
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Final trim experience highly regarded
- GPS experience (Topcon, Trimble, Leica) highly regarded
