About the Role- We’re seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team, supporting underground mining operations across Western Australia. In this critical role, you’ll maintain and repair heavy mining equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operate from your own field service vehicle, working primarily on underground mining machinery

- Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance with a focus on diagnostics and fault-finding

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities

- Collaborate with site teams to coordinate service schedules, reduce downtime, and maximize equipment availability

What You’ll Need

- Australian-recognized Heavy Duty Mechanic trade certificate

- Minimum 12 months post-trade experience in the mining industry

- Valid manual driver’s license

- Full working rights in Australia

- Proven experience with Sandvik, CAT, Volvo,



and Normet equipment

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently
