Position: Medical Assistant
n (Certification: MA, LPN, or RN)

Location: Brighton High School

Reports To: Building Principal & District Nurse

Affiliation: BESPA (Division 1 - Health Care Qualified)

n

Daily Schedule: 175 Days/year, 5 days/week (M-F), 7 hours/day
n Days and times align with annual Student Calendar & Building Schedule

n

Salary: $25.97/hr with current RN license
n $23.82/hr with current LPN license
n $21.64/hr with Medical Assistant (MA) certification or equivalent

n

Job Summary: Health Care Professionals will primarily assist students with medical & physical needs in our buildings. As part of our District medical team, Health Care Professionals' duties include some of the following tasks:monitoring ill students, providing direct medical care to students, monitoring vital signs, keeping charts & records up to date, assisting in the school and clinic areas as needed, stocking medical areas, communicating via phone & computer, and other duties as assigned.
