Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter and a Leading Hand to join the Workshop Maintenance Ancillary team at our Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD.

This role is based within the Ancillary Equipment Workshop, responsible for the maintenance, repair and inspection of workshop support equipment, including medium vehicles, tractors, pumps, generators, forklifts, telehandlers, air compressors, lubrication systems and other hydraulic and mechanical workshop assets.

Your core accountabilities will include:

- Maintain ancillary workshop plant and equipment to a high standard of safety, reliability and availability.
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on workshop ancillary equipment.
- Inspect, repair and service hydraulic,



pneumatic and mechanical systems associated with workshop infrastructure and support equipment.
- Complete maintenance activities in accordance with site procedures, statutory requirements and OEM recommendations.
- Accurately record maintenance activities and work orders within SAP.
- Contribute to achieving Engineering & Maintenance performance targets.
- Support the Workshop Fitter team with maintenance activities on CAT and Komatsu heavy mobile equipment, including dozers, graders, loaders, trucks and watercarts when required.
- Ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems while working collaboratively within a high-performing maintenance team.
