Licensed Electrician Wanted — Small Family Team (Gold Coast)

MCH Electrical is after an electrician to join the team. We're a small family business with 500+ five-star reviews, working right across the Gold Coast.

We want a good person who's reliable and in it for the long haul, not a stopover.

n

This is a service and maintenance role with real variety — real estate maintenance, residential renovations, domestic and light commercial, switchboard upgrades, fault finding, data and comms, CCTV, and air-con electrical works. Around 80% residential, 20% commercial. No two days the same. You'll run your own day, deal directly with customers, and have an apprentice working alongside you most days — so you'll be guiding and developing them as you go.

- $50–55/hr depending on experience, skill and attitude — the top of that range is genuinely on the table for the right person

What we're after

- Full QLD electrical licence
n
- Solid service, maintenance and fault-finding experience
n
- Confident across residential and light commercial work
n
- Neat, organised, and genuinely valuable with customers
n
- Reliable enough to run jobs on your own
n
- Happy to lead and mentor an apprentice — you'll have one with you most days
n
- Happy to use job-management software and keep your notes and photos up to date
n

SimPRO experience is a bonus, not a dealbreaker — if you're willing to learn our systems, we'll get you up to speed.

Straight up This probably isn't the role for you if you only want big-site construction work, need chasing for paperwork, or are after a short stopover. We're a small team, so attitude and reliability matter as much as technical skill.
