About the Opportunity

n

Based at our Cambridge - Cranston Branch on Mumirimina Country, you'll join a supportive team and receive structured training designed to help you become a safe and professional driver.

n

You'll work alongside experienced operators and mentors while learning how to safely operate side lift collection vehicles servicing municipal customers across the Hobart region.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Learning to safely operate a side lift collection vehicle
n
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and safety checks
n




- Collecting waste and recycling from municipal customers
n
- Working safely around traffic, pedestrians and residential areas
n
- Performing manual handling activities where required
n
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
- Building confidence and capability through structured training
n
- Delivering excellent customer service while representing Cleanaway
n

You don't need previous truck driving experience.

To be considered, you must:

- Hold a current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Have a minimum of 8 demerit points available on your licence
n
- Be willing to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
n
- Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical assessment
n
- Be willing to complete drug and alcohol testing
n
- Be willing to complete early morning starts
n
- Be physically capable of undertaking operational duties
n
- $32.23 per hour
n
