About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Landscaping Maintenance Team Leader to lead a small maintenance crew across Melbourne's South‑East.

You will supervise and guide your crew members on‑site, ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard; and occasionally you will work autonomously depending on our clients' scope. Your landscape maintenance skills, professionalism and ability to represent the Greenworx brand will be essential.

The ideal candidate will reside within 30 minutes of Dandenong and surrounds, for ease of travel to client sites in a company vehicle.

Essential experience and qualifications:





2 years’+ experience as a Leading Hand or Team Leader in Commercial Landscaping / Grounds Maintenance / Property Landscape Services

Qualifications in Landscaping / Horticulture (or related field) highly regarded

Proven experience working independently on sites

Proven team leadership skills, superior communication and problem-solving skills

A professional and positive approach with clients and staff

Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

Valid Driver’s License (Manual)

OHS Induction - 'White Card'

Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check, Police Check and Medical Assessment before starting

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality landscaping and grounds maintenance, including: - Mowing, edging, blowing | Pruning, hedge & tree trimming | Weed control (including chemical use)

Lead and support a small team of staff (usually 1 or 2 Trade Assistants) on the client site

Complete daily site reports and maintain accurate documentation

Uphold Greenworx standards for safety, presentation and client service

Communicate professionally with clients and site contacts

Ensure all garden waste is removed and transferred to authorised waste stations

Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards
