Toowoomba Anglican School is Australia’s only co-educational K–12 Day and Boarding School offering boarding from Year 1. The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our Primary School team on a Temporary Long Service Cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a vibrant and nurturing learning environment during the critical early years of education.

Commencing January 2027 (with the prospect for extension)

What You Will Do

Deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences in line with the Australian Curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, resilience, and growth

Work collaboratively with colleagues to support each child’s academic and emotional development

Actively participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including Sport and creative activities

Support the School’s commitment to child safety through active participation in student protection training and processes

What You Will Bring





Current or eligible registration with the Queensland College of Teachers

A sound understanding of contemporary pedagogy and early years learning practices

Experience working collaboratively in professional learning communities or team-teaching environments

Enthusiasm for contributing to students’ development beyond the classroom through co-curricular activities

A genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing and personal growth of every child
