Associates and Senior Associates – Audit – Australia

The opportunity

As our Associate or Senior Associate you’ll find an exciting profession and industry to be part of right now. At EY you will work alongside the data transformation team to create new custom audit solutions which are at the forefront of innovation in digitalising and automating most stages of an audit, leaving time to genuinely engage, consult and connect with our clients and teams.

This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

- Planning and coordinating audits with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues, ensuring audits are executed in compliance with policies and protocols.
- Executing audit processes with an understanding of an entity’s operating environment.

- Experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
- Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach.
- Experience in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
- A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing value added recommendations.

The salary range for this role is AUD 75,000 to AUD 112,000 inclusive of superannuation dependent on skills, experienceand work location.
