A leading Australian wealth management firm with an extensive private client adviser network is looking to add a Vice President to their Capital Markets team in Sydney.

This team sits at the centre of the firm's equity capital raising activity working closely with other teams to executing transactions for the private client adviser network, external dealer groups and IFA channels.

The Role

This is a stakeholder facing position with a primary focus on the origination of relationships across the Listed Investment Company and Listed Investment Trust space where you will work on a number of funds across industries and a mix of asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

- Originating and managing relationships with private client advisers, dealer groups and IFAs across a national footprint
- End-to-end transaction management including due diligence, internal approvals, legal document review and marketing coordination
- Responding to RFPs for new issuances and assessing market conditions across different product types




- Coordinating roadshow logistics and preparing investor-facing marketing and deal materials
- Collecting bids internally and from external third parties and providing issuers with market feedback
- Promoting new issuances internally across the adviser network

What They Are Looking For

- Background in investment banking, equity capital markets, financial markets, distribution or funds management
- Solid understanding of the equity capital raising process and ASX Listing Rules
- Familiarity with the LIC and LIT structure and the broader funds management industry
- Strong financial and transaction modelling skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions and competing deadlines
- Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, law or a related discipline
