The role will provide guidance & support to ensure that there is a focus on service development & appropriate oversight of practices, trends & indicators.

Key responsibilities

- You will demonstrate a high level of initiative, creativity & contribute to our vision of creative models of care.
- The DNM is a member of the senior executive team of the SHG providing leadership & is responsible for the overall management & clinical practice of Nursing & Midwifery Services in Shoalhaven Hospital Group.
- The DNM is responsible for the supervision, coordination & management of the nursing services and/or operations to ensure the delivery of high quality consistent patient care, efficient use of resources & staff who conform to all contemporary practice standards.

What you need

- As a nursing senior manager it is essential to ensure that systems and processes are in place to support the Nursing/Midwifery Unit Managers to meet the standards outlined in the Nursing and Midwifery management Framework.
