Store & Warehouse Team Member – Front of House

OCAM 4x4 Accessories is a leading Australian aftermarket 4WD and camping accessories brand, with physical stores across the country and a growing e-commerce presence. We're passionate about helping our customers get the most out of their 4x4 adventures, and we're looking for someone just as passionate to join our Prestons store.
The Role
We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Store & Warehouse Team Member to join our Prestons team. While this role includes warehouse duties, the primary focus is front of house — you'll be the face of OCAM 4x4 for walk-in customers, helping them find the right gear for their vehicle and their next trip.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House (primary focus)

- Greet and assist customers on the shop floor, providing product knowledge and recommendations

- Process sales transactions accurately through the POS system

- Handle customer enquiries, product fitment questions, and basic troubleshooting

- Maintain store presentation — shelving, displays, pricing, and cleanliness

- Support click-and-collect and in-store pickup customers

- Build rapport with regular customers and the local 4x4/camping community





- Assist with promotions, in-store events, and product launches

Warehouse & Stock Support

- Receive, check, and store incoming stock

- Pick and pack orders for in-store sales and click-and-collect

- Assist with stocktakes and inventory accuracy

- Keep the warehouse and storage areas organised and safe

- Support stock transfers between store and warehouse as needed

What We're Looking For

- Genuine interest in 4WDs, camping, or outdoor/automotive accessories (experience preferred but not essential)

- Strong customer service skills — friendly, approachable, and confident talking to customers

- Physically capable of warehouse duties (lifting, standing, moving stock)

- Reliable, punctual, and a valuable team player

- Basic computer/POS skills

- Forklift licence highly regarded (or willingness to obtain one)

- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends
