We are seeking two experienced SHMS Specialists to support a major, long-term Safety and Health Management System transformation project within the resources sector.

n

The Opportunity
n We are seeking experienced SHMS Specialists to support a major, long-term Safety and Health Management System transformation project within the resources sector.

n

n
- Review and analyse existing SHMS frameworks, processes and documentation.
n
- Support the redevelopment and alignment of management systems across multiple operations.
n
- Facilitate workshops, risk assessments and stakeholder consultation.
n
- Develop and review standards, procedures and other technical documentation.
n
- Support governance, assurance, implementation and continuous improvement activities.
n

About You




n We are looking for a confident Specialist who can operate autonomously and engage effectively across all levels of an organisation.

n

n
- Mackay or Moranbah-based candidates preferred
n
- Strong experience with SHMS, risk management and critical control frameworks.
n
- Experience developing, reviewing or implementing management systems.
n
- Excellent technical writing and analytical capability.
n
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
n
- Previous major mining organisation experience is advantageous but not essential.
n
- Ability to bring a fresh perspective and identify practical opportunities for system improvement.
n
