Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing
n Day Shift - Bankstown - $50–$55/hr + Super + Overtime n

nThis is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join a major food manufacturer in Western Sydney. You’ll work across a modern production environment, keeping critical machinery running reliably while gaining exposure to advanced manufacturing equipment.n

The Role n
nWorking as part of the site maintenance team, you’ll play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.n




nYou’ll be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance , fault finding, repairs and equipment improvements across a high-volume manufacturing environment.n
Key Responsibilities n

n
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance across production equipment
n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns
n
- Troubleshoot machinery to minimise production downtime
n
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications and improvements
n
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
n
- Work closely with Production to maximise equipment uptime
n
- Maintain high standards of GMP, WHS and food manufacturing compliance
n

About You n

n
- Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter
n
- 3+ years' industrial maintenance experience
n
- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or high-speed packaging highly regarded
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving ability
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
n
- Welding and lathe experience advantageous
n
- Strong focus on safety, reliability and preventative maintenance
n
- Positive understanding of GMP and food manufacturing standards
n
