Job TitleResearch Officer - Breast Cancer LaboratoryJob DescriptionAn exciting chance is available for a Research Officer to join the Breast Cancer Laboratory within the Cancer Division at Australia's pre-eminent biomedical research institute.About the positionThe Breast Cancer Laboratory focuses on normal breast development and cancer. The laboratory has a long-standing interest in the breast differentiation hierarchy and its molecular regulators, as well as deciphering cellular and molecular mechanisms that lead to cancer and the nature of diverse breast tumour ecosystems.The Research Officer is to contribute to the research effort and further develop their research expertise on investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms that underpin cancer initiation and progression. The position will involve breast cancer biology, analysis of clinical tissue samples and mouse tumour models, establishment of cellular assays and use of multimodal molecular technologies.

Salary is Research Employee level A6-8 ($107,192 - $115,058).
