n $80,000 – $100,000 + performance bonuses

Above Gym is a performance-based group training and simulated altitude studio on the Gold Coast. We're looking for a Performance Coach & Growth Manager to be the face of Above Gym — driving membership growth, owning our brand presence, and delivering an outstanding experience to every member and prospect who walks through our doors.

Respond to new leads across phone, email, SMS and social media

n

Follow up leads consistently and professionally

n

Convert enquiries, trials and casual visitors into memberships and packages

n

Conduct tours of the studio for prospective members

n

Confidently explain our memberships, services, packages and promotions

n

Identify member needs and recommend the most suitable options

n

Re-engage past members and leads to generate new business

n

Upsell additional services and packages where appropriate

n

Work towards individual and studio sales targets and KPIs

n

Maintain accurate lead records and ensure all follow-ups are completed

n

Assist with sales campaigns, promotions, community events and partnerships

n

Actively seek out new opportunities to generate leads and grow our member base

n

Coaching & Studio Presence:

n

Coach group training sessions as part of the role

n

Provide outstanding customer service to all members, addressing inquiries, concerns and feedback

n

Be the face of Above Gym — building genuine relationships with members and the local community

n

Marketing & Socials:

n

Own our marketing strategy and social media presence, including Instagram content and engagement

n





Monitor and respond to social media outside standard hours (1 hour/day paid)

n

Build and run promotional campaigns to grow membership numbers

n

Working Across the Business:

n

Work alongside the Studio Manager and casual coaching team to align on studio priorities

n

Cover sales and marketing for any additional Above Gym sites, with scope to move into a more strategic, off-floor position over time

n

Sit within our management circle, working closely alongside the Studio Manager(s) and owners

n

Track and report on sales and marketing performance

n

What we're looking for:

n

Proven sales experience, ideally in fitness or a member-based business

n

Coaching experience or relevant fitness qualification (Cert III or higher preferred)

n

First Aid and CPR certification

n

Robust communication skills, both verbal and written

n

Strong content creation and social media skills

n

Ability to manage a busy, fast-changing environment with excellent attention to detail

n

Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable owning growth outcomes

n

A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping people

n

Remuneration:

n

Base salary $80,000–$100,000, depending on experience

n

Bonus paid on each sale where the member retains their membership beyond one month — the more you sell and retain, the more you earn

n
