Additional information:

- These opportunities are Permanent Part-time (50hrs/fortnight)
n
- You will work on a rotating roster between 7:00am - 9:30pm on weekdays, and 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
n

* November to January is one of IKEA's busiest trading periods. To support our customers during this time, we prefer co-workers not to plan holidays during these months and to maintain availability throughout the peak period.

About this work area

n

As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

n

n
- Food preparation and food service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production plans.
n
- Providing friendly, helpful, efficient service to customers with every interaction, learning about and actively selling the IKEA Food range.
n
- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and always inviting.
n
- Displaying and plating food in an attractive and inspiring way, ensuring all information and pricing is accurate and customers have what they need available for an enjoyable meal.
n
- Cleaning kitchen and serving equipment, food preparation areas, tables and front of house areas, and managing waste and dishes.
n
- Processing customer transactions, cash and card payments, always with a welcoming smile.
n

As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are or have:

n

n
- Have a love for food, always ensuring robust food quality and presentation.
n
- An enthusiastic team player with strong communication and a high energy approach.
n
- Experience working in a fast paced, high volume, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and customer experience will be highly regarded.
n
- Commitment to following strict Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
